2019 was the year of checking off boxes. Of checking out the places looming in my mind week after week, and everything in between.
The great downtown photo op kicked off for the first year this Friday, and this Sunday evening had hundreds of folks and their puppers strolling about Centennial Square snapping photos.

Featured on the very first episode of Food Network show You Gotta Eat Here!, the place is voted one of the top three places in Victoria for brunch by TripAdvisor. Friends recommended it, my sister did too, and so, for a catch-up with the cousin, I went.
When Victoria gets to Christmas time, it goes BIG. There are so many places to enjoy the Christian holiday in the Garden City that to compile a comprehensive list would take days. So I'll be touching on a couple of the obvious, and one of the more personal, intimate, and perhaps *gasp* spiritual places to get into the holiday spirit.
