An Esquimalt jewel: Saxe Point Park

It's a 12 minute walk from the nearest bus stop to the park. I wander down Fraser Street lined with houses just a bit bigger than the wartime ones in the Quadra area. I almost don't want to enter the wooded beginning of the 86 year old park.

Four things to do this rainy-ish week

This last March was the driest on record with BC's capital receiving only 11.3 mm of rain compared to an average of 78.4 mm. April 7th week's forecast of *most* of the wet stuff is welcome, at least for me. But what to do if you're not a fan? If you're wanting to stay inside from the rain, here's a short list of things to do.
